Mr Sarasin had ample storage space in his cellar.

 

The entire front of the building is vaulted by a vast three-nave basement.

 

The height of the ribbed vault reaches approximately 6.5 meters.

 

In the center of the ceiling, a slab is embedded bearing the inscription ‘LS 1765’ / ‘JS 1765.’

 

The space is no longer usable for event organizations due to compliance with current safety regulations (fire, etc…).**
